Friends in this post is about How To Convert induction Fan into a BLDC Fan
Friends in this post is about How To Convert an induction Fan into a BLDC Fan. Let us first know what is the difference between an induction fan and a BLDC fan. And also see what are the benefits of BLDC fans.
Induction Fan how much electricity does it consume
A fan with a simple induction motor consumes about 80 watts. A BLDC motor fan consumes 35 watts. If we operate a fan for about 8 hours, 365 days per year. And let’s say the residential electricity consumption rate is Rs 7 per unit.
A fan with a conventional induction motor will consume approximately 233.6 units (80 Watts 0.088365) which will cost around Rs 1635.2 (233.6 units * 7).
BLDC Fan how much electricity does it consume
Whereas a BLDC fan consumes 87.6 units (30 Watt = 0.038365) which costs around Rs 613.2 (87.6 * 7).
This gives us about Rs. 1022. There will be savings per year. Most of the fans work for 8+ hours a day which goes up to Rs 1500-2000.
Advantages of BLDC fans
In what size BLDC fan will consume how much power and how many volt amperes will it take, let’s understand from this chart

let`s see How To Convert induction Fan into a BLDC Fan:-
Now take out both the root and stator of your old induction fan,
Because we’re not going to need these two in this BLDC fan conversion,
Now we have to set this new router in the body of the old induction fan,
To set it up, you may not have to rub this router a little from the sides,
After setting up the router, put the stator in it and close the top cover of the fan.
Now set the PCBA plate cover on the shaft of the stator,
Now connect the main circuit board of the BLDC fan on the PCBA plate by tightening the stator connections on it and after that cover the canopy over it.
With this your BLDC fan conversion is done.
